About PPQ

I grew up with so many questions and so many doubts. I did not have what all boys should have and that’s a dad or a male figure to look up to. I did not have the privilege of that guidance or to be able to see things from a certain male perspective and lens. My father was around but not present, nor did he participate in most aspects of my life. 

Many of us, myself included, walk through life with things we know aren't right, yet we normalize them to make them "seem" right, not knowing the impact they have on our lives. PPQ the series and books are just one way of how I share my life and

struggles of not having a dad. But there will be more ways I share my experiences like talks, movements, programs just to name a few.

The series is a walk down memory lane of questions that I had which I had to piece together over time on my own or with the help of others instead of my own father. Not wanting others to experience that, I put together this series to show and allow others to ask those questions they once had but weren't answered or questions you had but never asked. PPQ is a perfect example of allowing kids to ask questions, but more important the impact of having them answered.

This was a journey of getting to know, learn, understand, and heal my inner child. Also creating a new message for my kids, that its ok to ask questions. It’s the main way we learn, and I would love to help close that gap by helping those that do not have that opportunity. Not having a dad under any circumstance interrupts the molding that occurs and the formation of a foundation that is created during every boy’s life and when that does not occur a void is created that needs to be filled. Lucky for me I had a strong mom, and I grew up to do the things I set out to do but internally and emotionally, there were issues that did not come to fruition until l grew older and wiser. Now when I review the tape I see and understand where it all stems from.
